Meet Sir Yaps-A-Lot
Meet Sir. Yaps-a-lot!
This handsome 3-year-old Havanese/Poodle cross is looking for a fresh start after arriving at the shelter as a stray. As he came into our care without any known history, we’re still learning about his personality and preferences.
So far, he has shown himself to be a sweet boy who enjoys being around people and seeks out human companionship. He loves any type of snack you’re willing to give him! As you can tell by his name, he does like to make his presence known when he doesn’t have people around!
He is currently available as a Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) placement, until his scheduled neuter surgery has been completed. Once his neuter is done and all required veterinary procedures are finalized, his adoption can be completed.
Prospective adopters should be aware that, as a Havanese/Poodle mix, he will require lifelong grooming maintenance. Regular brushing at home and routine professional grooming appointments will be essential to keep his coat healthy, comfortable, and free of mats. He is not very fond of all of these things, so it will take a patient owner and a knowledgeable groomer to make a good team for this boy! For this reason, he will need to go into a home with no small children.
In return, he is sure to make a wonderful and devoted companion that just needs a little time to understand he is finally safe!
Walk-ins are prioritized.
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;
