Meet Stanley:

Stanley is a friendly, affectionate, and easy-going boy who loves spending time with people. He thrives with a consistent routine and will benefit from plenty of enrichment, exercise, and positive experiences to help build his confidence. Stanley has shown some signs of separation-related anxiety, so his adopters should be prepared to gradually help him become more comfortable with alone time. We also recommend working with an Animal Kind-accredited trainer to help continue building his confidence and reinforce positive coping skills.

Stanley’s foster family describes him as an absolute joy. He loves burrowing under blankets, happily thumps his foot when scratched behind the ears, and gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. Most of all, he’s a true cuddle bug who always wants to be close to his people and never turns down extra affection.

Stanley is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program while he awaits a dental procedure to address his dental disease. This allows his future family to welcome him home right away while he remains under BC SPCA care until his procedure is completed and he receives veterinary clearance.

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who will happily soak up all the love you can give, Stanley may be the perfect match for you!
Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open to walk in’s Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
