Fred is a handsome and sweet ginger boy that was surrendered to the BC SPCA through no fault of his own when his family went through a life change and were no longer able to care for him. Fred is a social and fairly outgoing cat, though he may be a bit shy initially in a new environment. He lived with another cat previously but had recently started to act out aggressively towards the other cat in the home so to be on the safe side, Fred should go to a home where he can be the only pet and get the love and attention he deserves.

Fred is often looking for pets and cuddles but he can be shy and tends to hide away in new environments. Young children or a home that is very loud would not be the happiest place for a sensitive soul like Fred. In the right environment he will be a wonderful loving companion.
