Meet Roscoe, a handsome Husky/Heeler cross with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Roscoe is an exceptionally friendly boy who loves meeting new people and is always happy to make a new friend.

As a Husky and Heeler mix, Roscoe is an intelligent and active dog who enjoys physical exercise and mental enrichment. He would thrive in a home that can provide regular walks, playtime, and opportunities to stay engaged. Roscoe’s affectionate temperament and eagerness to interact make him a wonderful companion for an active individual, couple, or family.

Roscoe has had positive interactions with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. However, he does display resource guarding behaviours around food and other high-value items and would be most successful as the only dog in the home. While he can still enjoy social time with dog friends through walks, playdates, and other appropriately managed interactions, care should be taken to avoid situations involving food, treats, toys, or other valued resources to help set him up for success.

Roscoe is looking for a loving home where he can be included in daily activities and receive plenty of attention, companionship, and enrichment. If you’re searching for a loyal, friendly, and fun-loving canine companion, Roscoe may be the perfect match for you!

Please note: Dog meet-and-greets are by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting Roscoe, please submit an online application. Our staff will contact shortlisted applicants to discuss the next steps.
