Dereck is a breathtakingly handsome medium-haired gentleman with a cloud-soft coat, soulful eyes, and one irresistibly adorable feature: his tiny tongue is almost always peeking out! After undergoing an extensive dental procedure that left him with only a few teeth, Dereck has perfected the art of looking perpetually cute without even trying. While his dental days are behind him and he’s feeling much more comfortable, his signature blep has become part of his charm.

This sweet boy is on the shy side and takes a little time to feel safe in new surroundings, but beneath his cautious exterior is a gentle, loving cat who just wants a quiet place to call home. Once he learns he can trust you, Dereck enjoys being near his people and will reward your patience with soft companionship and his calm, comforting presence. Because of his sensitive nature and medical history, Dereck is looking for an indoor-only home where he can stay safe, healthy, and spoiled as he deserves. With his luxurious fluff, adorable tongue, and tender heart, Dereck is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart and never gives it back.
