Meet Squid – A Little Squid with a Whole Lot of Love! 🦑🐾

Meet Squid, a one-year-old boy with a name as quirky and unforgettable as his personality! Whether he got his name for his wiggly, curious ways or simply because every great cat deserves a name that makes people smile, one thing is certain: Squid is one-of-a-kind. 🦑💙

This young guy is ready to dive headfirst into his next adventure – a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and completely himself. At just one year old, Squid has plenty of playful energy and curiosity to share, but what he really needs is a family willing to give him the consistency, patience, and care that will help him thrive.

Squid has feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC), a manageable urinary condition that can cause bladder inflammation and discomfort. Cats with FIC may have concentrated urine, microscopic blood, or crystals, and during a flare-up they may strain, show signs of pain, or urinate outside the litter box. The good news? FIC is manageable, and cats with this condition can live happy, normal, comfortable lives. 💙 Flare-ups can sometimes happen during periods of stress, so a calm, predictable environment and attentive care are especially important for Squid.

This handsome boy is looking for someone who will see his medical needs not as a limitation, but as just one small part of the wonderful cat he is. In return, Squid has a lifetime of companionship, curiosity, and feline antics to offer. 🐾

Age: 1 year old

Personality: Young, curious, playful, and full of personality 🐱

Special Feature / Care: Squid has feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC). He will need a consistent routine, stress-reduced environment, plenty of fresh water, and attentive monitoring for urinary changes. His adopters should be prepared to work with their veterinarian to help keep him comfortable and manage any future flare-ups.

Good With: Best suited to a calm, loving home. Compatibility with other animals should be assessed based on individual introductions and Squid’s comfort level.

Waivers & Disclosures: Adopters will need to acknowledge Squid’s FIC diagnosis and understand that urinary flare-ups may occur, particularly during times of stress. Ongoing veterinary care and monitoring may be recommended.
