Meet Rusty!

This lovable, big-hearted, slightly goofy 12-year-old is a giant of a dog! Despite his age, Rusty still thinks he’s a puppy at heart, full of energy, mischief, and a wagging tail that never quits. He’s the kind of dog who believes every day is a good day for a walk, a cuddle, and maybe a little bit of silliness.

Rusty gets along famously with cats and dogs, making him the perfect new best friend for your furry family members. He’s super friendly, sweet as can be, and loves to be loved, just don’t be surprised if he tries to sneak a kiss or two!

Right now, Rusty is rocking a snazzy cast after a little leg mishap, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s active, playful, and still has plenty of pep in his step, though he might need a little extra patience while he recovers.

One of Rusty’s funniest quirks? He loves sleeping on his back with all four legs stretched up in the air, like he’s doing his best impression of a fluffy, upside-down starfish. Watch out, because Rusty also enjoys sleep-running with all four paws straight in the air, a hilarious, upside-down karate routine that is highly hazardous to anyone in his immediate blast radius!

Rusty is also quite the playful pup, especially when it comes to cats. He loves to play and can be a bit overbearing, so he might be a little much for less dog-savvy cats who prefer their personal space. But with the right match, he can be a sweet, loyal buddy.
