Meet Leo!

Leo is a friendly, independent gentleman who tends to be more of an introvert than the life of the party. While his fluffy appearance may make him look like a cuddle bug, Leo would much rather enjoy a quiet conversation with his favorite human than curl up for a snuggle.

Leo will thrive with guardians who understand and respect his boundaries, giving him the time and space to get to know new people at his own pace. If you’re familiar with his breed, you’ll recognize his independent nature and appreciate that Leo likes to do things on his own terms.

Once he’s comfortable, Leo enjoys playing with other dogs. He has enjoyed the company of older respectful children, as always, supervision is required. His history with cats is unknown, so a cat-free home may be the best fit.

Leo especially enjoys having access to a yard where he can stretch his legs, cool down, and take in everything happening around him. He can be quite vocal and has a tendency to bark, so a home where he doesn’t share walls with close neighbors would be ideal.

Leo is currently receiving treatment for an ear infection and will benefit from regular veterinary check-ups to help keep him happy and feeling his best. Like many dogs of his breed, Leo has some food sensitivities and will need to remain on a special diet moving forward to support his overall health and well-being.
