Hailey is a very sweet, affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. While she can be a little nervous when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with gentle reassurance and a patient approach. Once she feels safe, she’ll happily lean in for pets and soak up all the love and attention she can get.

Hailey is a sensitive soul looking for a home with a calm atmosphere, a consistent routine, and a family that understands the importance of letting her build confidence at her own pace. She enjoys daily activity, plenty of mental enrichment, and, of course, lots of snuggles with her favourite people. She may also enjoy sharing her home with respectful, dog-savvy older children who can appreciate her gentle nature.

While Hailey has lived with other dogs in the past, those arrangements were not always successful. We suspect her boundaries may not always have been respected, and because of this, she would likely thrive as the only dog in the home. Hailey is selective about her canine companions and would not enjoy environments like dog parks. Any interactions with other dogs should be slow, carefully managed, and always on Hailey’s terms.
