At just 18 months old, this handsome Lab/Pitty mix has already faced more challenges than most dogs ever should. Recently, Luis was the victim of a vicious dog attack that left him with serious injuries and in need of surgery. Through it all, he showed incredible resilience, and we’re so happy to share that he has recovered beautifully and is now ready to find the loving family he’s been waiting for.

Despite everything he has been through, Luis’s love for people has never wavered. He greets his friends with a wagging tail, a happy spirit, and a heart full of trust. He truly enjoys being around people and is always ready to soak up affection and companionship.

Like any young dog, Luis loves to get out and enjoy life. Whether it’s running around the yard, heading out for a walk, or spending time playing with his favorite people, he’s happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s also proven himself to be a very clean kennel companion, showing all the signs of being a well-mannered and thoughtful housemate.

Luis may be selective about his canine friends, so if you already have a dog at home, we’ll want to arrange a proper meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is a good match.

What Luis needs most now is not another challenge to overcome, but a family to stand beside him. A family who will see beyond his past and focus on the bright future ahead. He is a good boy with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and so much love left to give.
