Meet Harlowe
Harlowe is a delightful 4-and-a-half-month-old Collie Husky mix, she is a loveable goofball with a big heart, and a serious appreciation for fetch!
Border Collies are known for their sharp minds, high drive, loyal hearts, and expressive personalities, and Harlowe is no exception. Harlowe is a bright, energetic, fun-loving gal who likes to live life at full speed! Harlowe would make a great agility prospect as she is eager to work and learn to use her brilliant collie brain. She’s playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves being around her people. Harlowe would do best with someone who can appreciate her goofy spirit, laugh at her antics, and support her as he settles into her furrever home!
Harlowe is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of her new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must – leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.
Border Collies and Huskies are incredibly energetic working-breed dogs who really do best when they have a job to do. Any prospective adopter should be prepared to meet the high energy requirements of her breed. Harlowe would thrive with plenty of walks, space to play, attention, outdoor time, and other forms of mental and physical stimulation. Breed experience with Border Collies or similar working breed knowledge would be an asset for any prospective adopter; Harlowe is truly the embodiment of pure energy who would love for her people to be as passionate about life as she is!

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
