Are you looking for a new best Buddy? Buddy is a sweet, senior gentleman. He’s an affectionate, polite little guy who loves pets, belly rubs, cozy naps, and spending quiet time with his favourite human. Buddy is a charmingly chatty cat who loves to have conversations with his people. He enjoys scratching posts (one of his favourite hobbies), and every now and then his inner kitten comes out for some zoomies or a game of fetch with his toys.

The most important thing to know about Buddy is that he is shy and needs a patient, cat-experienced adopter. It can take him several weeks to feel comfortable, but once he trusts you, his affectionate side truly shines. Buddy would thrive in a quiet apartment or smaller home with cozy hiding spots where he can retreat when he needs to feel safe. He’s content entertaining himself for much of the day, as long as his human has time for lots of pets in the evening.

He would ideally be the only cat in his home, although he could potentially coexist peacefully with a calm, cat-friendly feline. Buddy would also appreciate an adult-only home or one with calm, older children that understand his boundaries and body language!
