Meet Starfire!
Starfire is a very shy, gentle soul who came into the BC SPCA when her recent guardian had to move and couldn’t bring her along. Starfire was very overwhelmed coming into the shelter environment and is now in a foster home where she has been settling in and learning that she is safe. This pretty lady is definitely cautious and needs time to adjust to new environments and people

Starfire is looking for a calm, quiet home with an experienced cat guardian(s) who has the love and patience to draw her out of her shell. A home without children would be best. We’re not sure if Starfire has ever lived with other animals so testing and very slow, proper introductions would be important. Other animals would need to be calm and respectful of her space. She can be quite anxious and likes to have a safe place to hide and observe things from while she adjusts and becomes comfortable. Starfire is used to being an INDOOR ONLY can and due to her nervous nature should definitely stay as such in the future. She’s looking for a loving guardian who will take the time to reassure her and draw out that loving and playful side. With a gentle hand, patience, and lots of love from her new guardian(s) Starfire will certainly want to share her love with the right person. In the right environment she’ll start to relax and blossom into the loving, sweet companion she.
