Meet Onyx! Onyx and his siblings first came to us as terrified stray kittens, yet with help from a loving and committed foster home, we’ve truly seen Onyx’s confidence and personality shine! This handsome black kitten with a short tail is the brave leader of his group, always the first to investigate anything new and the last to miss out on the action.

Whether you’re bringing in toys, treats, or simply stopping by to say hello, he’ll be right there to inspect your offerings and see what you’re up to. Though not fully ready to cuddle right up into your lap, Onyx enjoys his humans’ company and will accept some pets, especially when a treat is involved (food is the way to his heart)!

At the moment, Onyx and his siblings are still learning to trust humans and therefore they prefer interactions on their own terms. We’re confident that in a home with some time and patience, we’ll see this one flourish into a sweet and confident cat!
