Meet Captain! 🏴‍☠️🐾

Ahoy! Meet Captain, an approximately 5-month-old puppy who’s ready to sail straight into your heart. Born without one of his front paws, Captain doesn’t let that stop him, he gets around wonderfully and tackles every adventure with confidence. You could say he’s already earned his sea legs!

While he already gets around well without one, a prosthetic would provide him with additional support as he grows and enjoys an active life. His ideal future family would be excited to explore this possibility with a veterinarian/prosthetics specialist. Helping him on this journey could make a meaningful difference in his comfort and mobility, and it would be a wonderful opportunity to give this resilient little pirate every advantage as he grows.

Captain loves to play, explore, and then drop anchor right beside you for a cuddle. He’s an affectionate, resilient pup with a cheerful spirit and a heart full of love.

Captain has been busy learning all the important puppy basics, including potty training, walking nicely on a leash, and building his confidence as he explores the big, wide world. He’s looking for a family who will continue helping him grow using animal-kind, positive reinforcement training, giving him the encouragement he needs to become the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

Captain is looking for an adopter who can make life comfortable and accessible for him while embracing all the fun, love, and laughter he brings. His missing paw doesn’t define him, it just makes his journey even more inspiring.
