Amy is a petite female budgie with beautiful green and yellow feathers and a charming personality that is just beginning to shine.
Not much is known about Amy’s past, as she was found as a stray near the Superstore and unfortunately no owner came forward to claim her. We are also not sure how old she is. Since arriving at the shelter, Amy has been taking her time adjusting to her new surroundings. While she was initially a little shy, she has slowly started to warm up and become more comfortable with the people caring for her.
Amy is now looking for a patient and loving forever home where she can continue to build her confidence and settle into a routine. Like many budgies, she will benefit from an experienced adopter know has knowledge of budgies and their needs. She will also do well with gentle interactions, a spacious and enriching environment, and a family willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure.

We will require a photo of the set up that Amy will be living in!
Walk-ins are prioritized.
We are open to walk in’s Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
