Barcus is a gentle and quiet soul who enjoys quiet conversations and bird watching. He enjoys long cat naps during the day and observing the world around him when there’s something exciting going on.
He is quite shy to start and is still on his path, learning to trust people. He will need a calm, quiet, home with patient pet parents to help build a trusting relationship with Barcus. If you think Barcus is the boy for you, please see the adoption application information below!
For adoption applications:
1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.

2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave for a meet and greet and to learn more about their ideal match. You may also apply to adopt in person.

Surrey Adoption Fees
*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
