Meet Polar

Polar is an adorable Great Pyrenees puppy with a big heart, a goofy personality, and an endless capacity for making you laugh. Like any puppy, he is still learning all the basics and will need continued support with house training, socialization, leash walking, and basic obedience training.

Polar can be a little unsure when faced with new situations, and because he sometimes seems to operate on a single brain cell, he benefits from patient guidance and plenty of positive reinforcement. Building his confidence through fun training sessions, new experiences, and consistent routines will be essential in helping him grow into a well-rounded adult.

This sweet boy would do especially well in a home with a calm, well-socialized adult dog who can help show him the ropes and provide positive examples of appropriate dog behavior. A canine companion could help him navigate the world and build confidence along the way.

Polar’s ideal family will understand that puppies require time, patience, and consistency. As a Great Pyrenees, he will grow into a large dog and will need ongoing training, socialization, and mental enrichment throughout his life. In return, he’ll provide plenty of laughs, affection, and loyal companionship.

All dog adoptions are by appointment only.

To be considered for Polar, please submit an adoption application outlining:

-Why you think your home would be a good match for him
-Your experience with puppies and/or giant-breed dogs
-How you plan to meet his training, socialization, and exercise needs
-Information about any resident pets and household members

Applications will be reviewed by our team, and selected applicants will be contacted to discuss Polar’s needs and arrange an meet and greet appointment.
