Befuddled has feline calicivirus, a common viral infection that he will carry for life. Because of this, he must remain an indoor-only cat and cannot be adopted into a home with other cats who are not already infected. While many cats with calicivirus live happy, healthy lives, the virus can be contagious to other cats, so he’ll need a home where he is the only cat or, even better, with his buddy Bewildered, who also has calicivirus.
