Meet Jyn, a beautiful black and brown medium-haired girl who is looking for a quiet home to call her own. Jyn came to us as a stray with a group of cats, so we don’t know much about her past. When she first arrived, she was very shy, spent most of her time hiding, and was quite skinny.

Since being in our care and getting spayed, Jyn has been doing much better and slowly gaining confidence. She is still sensitive to loud noises and may run off to find a safe hiding spot when she’s startled. With a little patience (and some Temptations treats!), she has been coming out more and showing her sweet side. Once she’s comfortable, Jyn loves attention, enjoys rubbing against her people, and can be very affectionate. She also enjoys being brushed, which is a great way to help her bond with her new family.

Jyn would do best in a quiet home with patient adopters who will give her the time she needs to settle in. She may also do well with a calm, cat-friendly cat with slow introductions. With a little love and understanding, Jyn is sure to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm

2)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
