Say hello to Darth! Darth is a sweet, shy boy that came into the care of the BC SPCA when his previous guardian had to move and sadly couldn’t bring him along. He can be pretty nervous and anxious in a new environment and needs a quiet home, a gentle hand, and lots of loving reassurance to help him settle in and let his curious, playful, loving kitten side out. Darth is still easily startled by fast movement and loud noises and likes to have hiding areas to feel safe. If you are patient and live in a quiet home, this young guy will certainly come out of his shell for you. Once he’s comfortable he’ll melt under your hand for pets and let his purrs run wild loving the attention. A quiet home without kids or dogs would be most suitable. We’re not sure how he would do with another cat though. Possibly with slow, proper introductions he could enjoy a feline friend. Adopting a kitten is a lifetime commitment. Adopters need to provide all the love and care needed to help their kitten have a long, happy, healthy life.
