Meet Eva!

Eva is a beautiful 9-year-old tabby with a heart full of love to give. Since arriving in our care, she has shown just how resilient she is. Recently, Eva had a small benign tumor removed from the back of her neck and has recovered wonderfully. Now, she’s ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family to call her own.

Eva’s foster had nothing but great things to say about her, here are some her her likes and dislikes that her foster has noticed:

LOVES:

chin scratches, will give licks in return.

evening cuddles (will jump onto my bed as soon as I am in bed)

dark hiding spots and lots of them

LIKES:
to curl up in your armpit
To meow/chirp for attention
Cat tree scratch poles – doesn’t actually use the tree part just the scratcher. I have lots of floor scratchers too but she doesn’t use these.
To bat toys around – little mice/nothing too fancy or scary!
To give face licks during the night and sleep on top of me.
To go to the bathroom late in the evening.
Dry food, more inclined to eat wet when its watered down.
To rub her chin on something soft then bite it – she will never do it to me but only ever my bedding/clothing and when she bites she just puts her mouth around it, its not an aggressive bite and its actually super cute.

DISLIKES:
The outdoors/windows – I have my blinds shut and this makes her more comfortable to come out. If my blinds are up shes very focused on the windows and swishes her tail lots.
Being picked up – she will meow but has never shown any sign of aggression.
Being up high – never jumps on counters or uses the cat tree only jumps up on my bed thats the highest thing.
Being in her carrier.
She has never shown any aggression towards me even when having to medicate her 3x a day, she will meow and occasionally grumble but is only ever verbal and not physical. She is the sweetest little kitty once she has time to get to know you and I am so lucky I got to foster her, so thank you!

This sweet girl loves the simple things in life: a cozy blanket fort, a good meal, and plenty of companionship. Eva is known for making biscuits when her favourite people come by to say hello, and she especially enjoys having company while she eats.

To keep her healthy and happy, Eva is currently thriving on a Gastro Biome diet and will need to stay on this food in her new home.

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
