Meet Sugar and Green Tea!

This sweet, bonded pair of lovebirds are looking for a patient and dedicated home where they can truly blossom. Sugar and Green Tea came to us from a very busy home with many other birds, where they didn’t always receive the ideal diet or environment they needed to thrive.

Because of their past, these two are understandably nervous and still learning that people can be kind and predictable. Green Tea tends to be a little braver and more curious, often taking the lead, while Sugar looks to her for reassurance. Watching their bond is incredibly special. They stick close together, offering each other comfort and confidence as they navigate new experiences.

Sugar and Green Tea will need a calm, understanding household committed to continuing their journey toward better health. A spacious, enriching flight cage is a must, along with plenty of time to adjust at their own pace. Positive, gentle interactions will help build their trust over time, but their adopters should be prepared to let them move at their own speed. Potential adopters experienced in caring for lovebirds, or other exotic birds would be their ideal future family.

They are currently transitioning to a healthier, balanced diet, and their future family must be dedicated to continuing this progress. Proper nutrition, regular vet care, and a clean, thoughtfully set-up environment including plenty of enrichment will be essential in helping them flourish.
