Meet Maple

Add to favourites

Meet Miss Maple! This sweet but shy lady came to the SPCA from a home with a large number of cats and kittens that weren’t able to be cared for properly. She’s now looking for her chance at a proper loving fur-ever home where she can be spoiled. Maple came in with her litter of kittens and spent several weeks in a foster home raising them. Now that they’ve found their homes it’s hopefully Maples turn!
Due to where she came from she can be a bit unsure and nervous in new environments and take some time to adjust and build trust with her new people. She does love pets and will melt for cheek rubs. She can get very nervous and squirmy of being picked up but may get better with time. Maple would likely do best in a bit of a quieter home without young children. She would probably do well in a home with another feline friend or two with proper, slow introductions. We’re not sure how she would feel about a dog. In the right home Maple will be a wonderful, loving companion with lots of love to share.
Due to an accident Maple ended up fracturing one of her shoulders and ended up having to have a front leg amputated. She is now adjusting to life on 3 legs and doing well so far. Due to her somewhat nervous nature and only having 3 legs Maple needs to be a strictly INDOOR ONLY cat.
