Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a 1 year old Doberman, with a playful and gentle spirit. She is very curious and ready to find her new home!

Lucy would thrive in a quiet home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Loud noises and busy environments can make her unsure, so a calm and patient family will help her feel safe and secure. She would also do best as the only pet in the home.

She enjoys playtime and spending time with her people, and has plenty of potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. As a young dog, Lucy would benefit from basic training, including leash walking and positive social experiences. With consistancy, patience, and encouragment, she is sure to make great progress.

Do you think you could be Lucy’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday 12pm to 5pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
