Meet Sophie! Sophie is a delightful 3 year old Kelpie cross, she is a loveable goofball with a big heart, and a serious appreciation for fetch!

Kelpies are known for their sharp minds, loyal hearts, and expressive personalities, and Sophie is no exception. Sophie is a bright, energetic, fun-loving girl who likes to live life at full speed! Sophie would make a lovely training prospect as she is eager to learn and use her brilliant brain. She’s playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves being around her people.

While Sophie is a lovebug with the people she knows, she can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men. She just needs a bit of time to warm up and realize that new people might also be potential fetch partners. Once she feels comfortable, her silly, affectionate personality really shines.

Any prospective adopters should be prepared to support Sophies soft side, guiding her through life’s unsure moments while also encouraging her to enjoy new experiences. Sophie would benefit from continued socialization to help her flourish into a balanced and well-rounded dog.

Kelpies are energetic, loyal, and headstrong working-breed dogs who really do best when they have a job to do. Sophie would thrive with plenty of walks, space to play, attention, outdoor time, and other forms of mental and physical stimulation. Breed experience with Kelpies or similar working breed knowledge would be an asset for any prospective adopter; Sophie is truly the embodiment of pure energy and love, and she would love for her people to be as passionate about life as she is!
