Meet Miss Minou

Bonjour, mes amis! My name is Miss Minou, and while my name may sound very sophisticated, I’m truly just a gentle little lady searching for a quiet place to call home. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for me, and I’ve been feeling shy and shut down while I wait for my next chapter to begin. Beneath my timid exterior is a sweet soul who longs for a warm lap, a cozy blanket, and a patient family willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace.

I am currently awaiting a dental procedure, so I’m looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the Nanaimo area where I can settle in and feel safe while I wait for my surgery. The shelter staff believes I will be much happier recovering in a loving home, surrounded by comfort and kindness rather than kennel walls.

My dream home is an indoor-only one where I can spend my days lounging in sunny windows, enjoying peaceful naps, and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. I may not be the cat who rushes up to greet you right away, but for someone willing to give me a little patience and understanding, I have all the potential to become a devoted and loving companion.

Like any true French lady, I appreciate life’s simple pleasures: a soft bed, a quiet café-worthy atmosphere, and good company. If you have room in your heart and home for a shy sweetheart who just needs a chance to bloom, I would love to meet you. Perhaps my happily ever after is waiting with you.
