Introducing Pickles, a beautiful adult female budgie with a soft, sweet personality. Pickles arrived as a stray, so her background is unknown, but she has quickly shown us her gentle nature. Estimated to be a year old or older, she enjoys perching quietly, watching the world around her, and offering the occasional soft chirp.

Pickles is still adjusting to human interaction, so she’ll need an adopter who can give her time, reassurance, and positive experiences. Budgies like Pickles thrive with enrichment, a spacious cage, and opportunities to socialize at their own pace. With patience, she’s sure to blossom into a confident and happy little companion.

1)Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
