Meet Pistachio!

Pistachio is a big boy searching for his furever home. He’s a curious spirit who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Pistachio came from a hoarding situation, so he’s still discovering that humans can be trusted friends. Pistachio will take a while to settle into a home and will require ongoing, consistent gentle interactions while he becomes more comfortable around humans. He is showing great improvements in shelter, accepting gentle head pets.

Pistachio is looking for an adopter who has plenty of cat experience and the patience to support a shy cat’s journey. Pistachio will need an adult only home with a calm, predictable routine where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe.

Pistachio has previously lived with other cats and shows interest in feline companions. He may do well with a confident, outgoing cat who can help show him the ropes, given a slow and thoughtful introduction.

If you’re a patient, compassionate adopter who finds joy in helping a shy cat blossom, Pistachio may be the perfect match for you.

Stop by the West Vancouver location to meet Pistachio in person! Our adoption hours are 12pm to 4pm, Tuesdays to Sundays. While we welcome online applications, we prioritize in person meets.
