Meet Cashew
Meet Cashew!
Cashew is a beautiful boy searching for his furever home. He’s a playful, curious spirit who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.
Cashew came from a hoarding situation, so he’s still discovering that humans can be trusted friends. While he’s not fully confident with petting yet, he’s becoming more comfortable around people, especially those who sit quietly with him and let him approach at his own pace.
This boy loves wand toys, especially anything with feathers, and we expect his playful side to shine even more once he settles into a stable home.
Cashew is looking for an adopter who has plenty of cat experience and the patience to support a shy cat’s journey. Cashew will take a while to settle into a new home but has already made wonderful progress in foster care, accepting gentle pets when treats are involved and showing more curiosity every day.
Cashew is looking for an adult only home with a calm, predictable routine where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe.
Cashew has previously lived with other cats and shows interest in feline companions. He may do well with a confident, outgoing cat who can help show him the ropes, given a slow and thoughtful introduction.
If you’re a patient, compassionate adopter who finds joy in helping a shy cat blossom, Cashew may be the perfect match for you.
Cashew is currently in foster care so he is not viewable in shelter, we will be contacting those who apply online.
