Meet Shaggy – A Gentle Soul on the Mend
Shaggy arrived as a stray in rough shape, covered in wounds, matts and in need of dental care. Thanks to some much-needed veterinary attention, he’s now well on the road to recovery and feeling better every day.
While he was understandably fearful at first, Shaggy has been steadily gaining confidence and showing his sweet personality. Each day brings a little more trust, and he’s learning that people can be kind. One of his favorite things? Cheek rubs!
Shaggy will thrive in a patient, loving home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. With time and compassion, this resilient boy is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
