Atlas is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Atlas is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and he is eager to learn new tricks and games.

Atlas is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must – leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.

Atlas won’t be a puppy forever, and as he grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about his breed. Atlas is presumed to be a Staffordshire Terrier/Heeler mix, however, we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test.

A Staffordshire Terrier/Heeler mix is a very demanding combo! Layer mental challenges into every day; puzzle feeders, nose work, training sessions that require problem-solving, and hide-and-seek games with toys all engage the cognitive drive that physical exercise misses. Pitties need to meet other dogs in controlled, positive contexts; not the chaotic dog park, but structured settings where interactions are supervised, and success is likely.
