Meet Skylar
Wow. About time.
Hi, I’m Skylar-formerly known as “exhausted single mom,” currently rebranding as “elegant, independent house cat with impeccable standards.”
Let me set the scene:
For the past 44 days (yes, I counted… mothers always do), I’ve been in foster care raising my three delightful, chaotic, always-hungry sons. We were found outside-no shelter, no plan, just vibes-and thankfully scooped up by some very competent humans who clearly recognized star quality. I did the hard work: nursing, cleaning, teaching them basic manners (a work in progress), and generally keeping everyone alive.
And now?
I’m retired.
The boys are still in foster, bulking up like tiny furry bodybuilders because apparently “the great outdoors” was not their best career move. They’ll catch up. They take after me-resilient, charming, and a little dramatic.
But back to me, as it should be.
I’m officially ready to trade in my mom-life for the soft, indoor, never-touch-grass-again lifestyle I so deeply deserve. I’m looking for a home where:
The food bowl is never mysteriously empty
The couch is considered ours (but mostly mine)
“Outside” is something I view safely through a window, like the civilized being I am
In return, I offer:
Expert-level lounging
Selective affection (which makes it more valuable, obviously)
A face that will make you forgive absolutely everything
So if you’re looking for a cat who has seen things, raised a family, and is now ready to live her best, pampered life-congratulations. You’ve found her.
Apply within. I’ve waited 44 days already. Let’s not make it weird. 🐾
