Meet Summit – a one-year-old Lab/Shepard/Pitty mix with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a love for life’s adventures. Much like his name suggests, Summit is all about the journey, not just the destination. His ideal day? A long “summit sniffy walk” where he can take in every smell, every breeze, and every tiny discovery along the trail.

Summit is still learning about the world and hasn’t had a lot of life experience yet, so new things can feel a little big and overwhelming at first. He’s a shy boy who needs a patient and understanding home willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. With kindness, routine, and gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement training, Summit continues to blossom into a sweet and loyal companion.

Once he feels safe, Summit’s playful and affectionate side starts to shine. He would do best in a calm home where he can continue learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. We believe once he truly settles in with his people he will be ready to face every challenge and adventure life has to offer with a big smile on his face!
