Say hello to Ocean! This sweet young fella is ready to find a new home that can offer him the lifestyle he craves, and the love he adores!

Ocean here is a sweet and shy young boy, who really blossoms out of his shell once he gets to know you. He came from us as a puppy, but sadly had to return to us due to no fault of his own. The years haven’t changed that spunky pup much, and he sure is a lovely companion to the right home! He is initially shy of new people, and takes a bit of time and patience to warm up. Women are his go to, so men might have to work a tiny bit harder to win his love!

Ocean came from a home where he was around his guardian a lot, and spent much of his days outdoors exploring the great forests of BC with his canine bff. He would adore another active home that can keep him busy and enjoying what he loves so much, like walks with his people and long drinks from the rivers. Hes previously been off leash a lot, and doesn’t stray far from his person! He can find being alone from his person or canine companions a bit distressing, which results in some long and sad howls from sweet Ocean. He would thrive in a home with another young well mannered dog, or someone who is able to offer him lots of enriching outlets to make alone time not so tough. He likely wouldn’t be a good match for an apartment as he can be loud in his sad moments, and is most comfortable when he can decompress in his yard and get his sniffies out. He loves to get goofy and plays so expressively, he’s sure to make you laugh for hours on end!

Ocean ADORES small dogs and dogs his own size, but does find larger dogs quite scary and will need someone who can introduce him to well mannered, well matched playmates to show him they aren’t so bad. He finds a lot of comfort in reassurance from his people, and seems to be mostly praise motivated! He is sure to thrive with a confident guardian who can let Ocean adjust at his own pace.
