Meet Nova
Meet Nova, a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a gorgeous long coat and a quieter, more reserved personality. Nova is still learning about the world around her and can be unsure in new situations, especially with unfamiliar people or handling. Because she hasn’t had much socialization, she’s looking for a patient and understanding home that will allow her to settle in at her own pace and continue building confidence.
While Nova may not be the type of dog who immediately rushes up to greet everyone she meets, she has a gentle nature and has started showing that she enjoys attention once she feels safe and comfortable. Watching her slowly come out of her shell and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and she will thrive with calm guidance, consistency, and positive experiences.
Nova’s beautiful long fur will require regular grooming and brushing, though it’s currently not something she enjoys very much. Her future family should be prepared to work slowly and patiently with her to help grooming become less stressful over time. A quiet environment and predictable routine will go a long way in helping Nova feel secure.
At 5 years old, Nova is ready for a fresh start with someone willing to give her the understanding and kindness she deserves. She may need a little extra time and patience, but for the right person, Nova has the potential to become a deeply loyal and devoted companion.
