This group includes 3 diamond tetras and 5 harlequin rasboras, all peaceful, social freshwater fish that thrive in community aquariums. Both species are schooling fish and should be kept in groups, making this a well-balanced small school.

Diamond tetras are known for their subtle, iridescent shimmer and active swimming behavior, while harlequin rasboras are hardy and easygoing, making this group a great option for beginner to intermediate fish keepers.

A minimum tank size of 15-20 gallons is recommended, with a heater to maintain tropical temperatures (22-26°C), gentle filtration, and plants or décor for hiding and comfort. These fish prefer a calm, stable environment with clean, well-maintained water.

They are non-aggressive and can live with other peaceful species. Feeding is simple-high-quality flake or micro-pellet food once or twice daily is suitable.

Ideal home requirements:

– A fully cycled aquarium
– Regular water maintenance (partial water changes, monitoring water quality)
– Peaceful tank mates and environment

This group would make a beautiful and lively addition to a well-maintained aquarium.
