Toast is a sensitive young cat who came to us from a home with many other cats. She can be shy with people at first, but with patience, Churu treats, and gentle chin scratches, she slowly warms up and shows her softer side. She prefers to build trust on her own terms and appreciates humans who respect her boundaries.
Toast truly shines when she has feline companionship and will need to join a home with at least one other cat. Other cats give her confidence and guidance, helping her feel secure as she navigates her world. She’s very in tune with her own autonomy and isn’t afraid to voice when she’s uncomfortable, making her a great match for a cat‑savvy home that understands and appreciates clear communication. With the right feline friends and understanding people, Toast has all the ingredients to thrive.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
