Sardine is looking for a patient home that can give him grace while he settles in and gains confidence in his new surroundings.
He came from a home with several other cats and is generally under socialized so he is going through a big transition of “new” with us.

He will do best as an indoor only guy, and would likely do great with another cat in the home to play with. We have found that he adores playing with pompoms and little tiny mice. He carries them in his mouth, flings them in the air and has an absolute blast!

He may not be receptive to visitors, but he does love treats.
Sardine is slowly but surely coming around and has started kneading the ground while we talk to him, though he is still too unsure of us for cuddle time.
Big progress has been made more recently, and it turns out he loves to chat!

He is not opposed to telling us to back off when he thinks we are getting too comfortable and may cross his boundaries, so we are recommending an adult oriented home where he can do things on his own terms and pace.
