Meet Walter, an Olde English Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger love for his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be right in the middle of whatever is going on, whether that’s playtime with toys or hanging out with his humans. Walter has a playful, social nature and truly thrives on attention and interaction, but he’s just as happy winding down at the end of the day curled up on the couch-or even better, snuggled under the covers with you.

Walter does well around other dogs and can enjoy their company, but when it comes to his home life, he’d much prefer to be the king of his castle. He’s looking for a home where he can soak up all the love and attention, while still having opportunities to make dog friends outside the home for playdates and social time.

Like many bulldogs, Walter comes with a few extra care needs that his future family should be prepared for. He has allergies and is currently on a special veterinarian-prescribed diet to help keep his skin comfortable and healthy. He is currently on medication with a possibility he may need it lifelong to manage these allergies. He also has those classic bulldog wrinkles, which need to be cleaned regularly to prevent irritation or infection. In addition, Walter has undergone surgery to help open up his nasal passages, which has helped improve his breathing and overall comfort.

Walter is a wonderful mix of playful energy and affectionate companionship. He’s looking for a home that understands his needs and is ready to give him both the care and the love he deserves.
