Meet Darla!

*Please note: We will only be accepting applications for Darla online as she is currently in a foster home. As small dogs are very popular, we are expecting a high number of applications. Only short-listed applicants will be contacted.

Darla is a sweet senior Shih Tzu mix. She came into our care recently as a stray and needed major dental surgery. She is currently recovering in a foster home. Her foster family reports that she’s doing beautifully and her personality is shining brighter every day.

Darla is, without question, a people dog. She thrives on human connection and has a gift for making everyone around her feel special. Whether she’s curling up beside you for a cozy nap or nudging your hand for just one more pet, she radiates affection. She also loves to play and is particularly fond her of soft stuffies. Since she came in as a stray, we’re not sure how she is with other animals yet, so slow, thoughtful introductions would be necessary.

Darla would flourish in a home where she can be someone’s companion. She’s gentle, loving, and eager to be included in daily life. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who will fill your home with warmth, Darla is ready to give her whole heart.

She will need a recheck at Allondale Animal Hospital in Surrey on April l4th in the morning. Interested applicants will need to be able to take her to/from this appointment.
