Meet Josie (and John),

Josie is beautiful and talkative! She is a bit shy, not quite comfortable with hands yet and prefers to keep a bit of distance. Josie was able to free feed in her previous home and is unfortunately a tad on the chubby side. We have her on a strict feeding plan which will need to be followed so she may in time get back to a healthy weight. These two bright yellow birds will definitely bring some sunshine to your life!

John and Josie are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

For adoption applications:

1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.

2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave for a meet and greet and to learn more about their ideal match. You may also apply to adopt in person.

Please note that if you are coming in shelter to meet one of our birds to bring along a carrier if we are able to move forward with an adoption.
