Max is a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This friendly boy loves meeting new people and is always ready to say hello. If you’re looking for a dog with character, charm, and plenty of expressions, Max is your guy.

Max is currently on a weight loss journey. While he still considers himself a professional food enthusiast, he’s working hard on healthier habits and would thrive with a family committed to keeping him active and sticking to his plan.

With his playful spirit, lovable goofiness, and loyal nature, Max is ready to be your walking buddy, your daily dose of laughter, your cuddle buddy, and companion. If you’re prepared to help him stay on track while giving him all the love he deserves, Max can’t wait to meet you! 💛

Do you think you could be Max’s person? Here is how to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
