Taika is a beautiful, spirited girl who’s ready to find a home that truly understands her personality. She was surrendered for being a bit too rambunctious for her previous pawrents-but we think her playful energy is part of her charm!

Taika absolutely loves attention from adults and will happily soak up affection on her own terms. She’s not a fan of young kiddos and does best in a calmer, more predictable environment. Yes, she’s got a little catitude-but honestly, it just makes her all the more lovable.

One thing we’ve learned quickly: Taika prefers to be the queen of her castle. She’s not a fan of other cats and would do best as the only pet in the home

She’s curious about everything going on around her and enjoys exploring her space. Taika can channel her inner tiger during playtime, chasing toys and burning off energy-but she also appreciates her downtime, curling up in cozy spots for a good nap.

And when you’re relaxing? That’s her cue. Whether you’re watching TV or reading, Taika will happily hop up and snooze on your lap.

Taika is looking for a safe, patient home that will embrace her personality and give her the playtime and routine she thrives on. In return, you’ll get a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate companion.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a feline companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
PLEASE NOTE: This cat is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch.
