Meet Calypso

*Kittens & cats are in high demand, this centre operates on a first come, first considered basis – online apps are not considered beforehand*

Calypso is a fluffy 5 year old male medium hair Orange Tabby. Calypso came back into the care of the BC SPCA recently after months of life with a boisterous, untrained puppy. He is shy of new people and loud noises are very scary. Within a few days this sweet boy begins to trust and is absolutely in love with ear scratches. He now snuggles his head under your chin and drool when you scratch just the right spot. Calypso will do best as an only animal, in a calm quiet home so he is not over whelmed by the noise of life.

He will be booked for his dental surgery in Surrey so his new family will be picking him up as a Foster-To-Adopt, which means he can start settling into his forever home while we arrange his veterinary care. Once his dental is complete, the adoption will be finalized. In the meantime, he will need to return to the TriCities shelter for regular check ups.

If Calypso sounds like the purr-fect addition to your home:
1. Come visit during adoption hours (1-4pm Fri-Tues)
2. Speak with one of our adoption counsellors to determine if it’s a good match
3. We’ll review instructions then you’ll be able to take your new feline friend home!
