Meet Rudy!

Rudy is a lovely 6-year-old boy who came to us as a surrender through no fault of his own. Rudy is a gentle soul, looking for a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace and be your new best side kick! The way to Rudy’s heart is with a few tasty treats, gentle pets, and some cozy cuddles. After that he quickly lets his sweet personality shine through!

Rudy’s favorite things in life include stuffie toys, exploring outside and going for walks, sniffing around the yard, and, most of all, cuddling up with his person. He truly enjoys being by your side whenever he can and will happily shadow you around the house just to be close.

Rudy is looking for a patient, understanding, and calm home where his new family will allow him to settle in on his own terms. He may need a little time at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, it will be more than worth it. With Rudy you will gain a loyal, loving best friend for life.

Do you think you could be Rudy’s person? Here is how to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
