Meet Missy! Missy is a very sweet, loving, and exuberant girl ready for a new chapter in her life. Missy came into care with many other dogs after having a challenging start to her life. Despite that, Missy wants nothing more than to be loved. She craves being close to people as much as possible and enjoys snuggling up with a cozy blanket.

Missy is sweet, deeply loving, and incredibly loyal, she is just waiting for a human to bond with and once she does, she’ll be your devoted shadow everywhere you go. Whether she’s gazing up at you with those soulful eyes that make you want to give her the world, sitting faithfully at your feet, or snuggled as close as physically possible, her happiest place is simply by your side. She adores treats and is eager to learn, always ready to please and soak up affection.

Because of her challenging start to life, Missy is still learning how to be a dog. Missy has not had the opportunity to live in a home yet, so she is looking for patient adopters that will help her navigate all there is to learn. Practically everything is new to her, and it’s critical that any potential adopters are willing to prioritize creating a safe space for her to learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. She has started to master walking on a leash and enjoys experiencing all the new smells.
