Meet Homer
Meet Homer & Marge,
These sweet buns came into our care when their guardian could no longer look after them. They are gentle, curious, well‑behaved, and ready for a fresh start. Homer and Marge have always lived together and rely on each other for comfort and support, so they must be adopted as a bonded pair. Rabbits are very social animals, and these two are no exception.
Both buns enjoy gentle pets. Homer is the more confident of the two and will hop right over to say hello, while Marge takes a little longer to warm up. However, she has blossomed during her time with us and is now much more comfortable around people. She’s sweet, curious, and becoming braver every day. These two are also tidy buns and are both mostly litterbox trained.
Homer & Marge are looking for a home that understands the basics of rabbit care. They will need a large, safe space where they can roam and feel comfortable. This space should include toys for enrichment and foraging, hideouts, and a proper diet of fresh greens, rabbit pellets, and unlimited timothy hay. They should also be given supervised time each day outside of their enclosure to explore and be part of the family.
Please note that we will ask for photos of your setup as part of the adoption application.
Are you ready to welcome these two best buds into your home? You can apply online or come meet them in person. Adoption hours are 12-3 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays).
