Meet Rolo
Meet Rolo the brave. We call her that because for a very long time, Rolo was very afraid of everything and everyone. Her only real comfort was food, which she still loves and will take gently from your hand.
Rolo has come a long way and although she is not a fan of being touched, she gives the best bunny kisses with her whiskers. Have you ever been tickled by a bunny whisker? It is quite lovely and it is Rolos’s way of letting you know that you are okay. This sweet girl loves to explore and before when she was given the opportunity to hop around and explore her surroundings, she would have run and hid the moment she saw a human.
Not anymore! Rolo the brave has realized that she does not have to be in danger mode all of the time.
Rolo’s top favorites are food, chewing on bunny appropriate toys and exploring outside of her enclosure and checking out what the humans are doing.
An adult quieter home will be best for Rolo. This sweet girl has been in care since December 2025. 187 days she has been waiting for a loving home.
Rabbits are not starter-pets; they are intelligent, social pets who thrive on space, enrichment, and companionship, so please make sure you do your research about proper rabbit care. If you’re ready to share a quiet home (and your vegetables!) with Rolo, she would love to meet you. Potential adopters will be asked about their enclosure as part of their application to ensure Rolo will have the roomy, secure home she needs to thrive.
