Meet Onyx!

Onyx is a gentle soul who’s still learning the world can be a safe place. He’s a bit shy at first and prefers quiet corners, but with patience and kindness we hope that he will blossom into a loyal companion. Onyx will do best in a calm home where he can take his time to build confidence, he may come out of his shell faster if there is another cat in the home to teach him how to be more confident. He enjoys soft pets, cozy blankets and watching the world from a sunny window. With a bit of socialization and lots of love we hope Onyx will show you just how warm his heart is.

We are looking for indoor-only homes. Consider investing in a catio or “cat-proofing” your balcony/deck for supervised, outdoor enrichment.

Cat Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
